Need people's help about majors at Wash.U

Hi everyone, a quick and very important question!
can engineering students at Wash.U (enrolled in the college of engineering) taking courses at other colleges, say, CAS, business school and stuff like that..
also, is it possible to transfer to other college? cuz i thought i wanted to do engineering, but now i think my passion is more about Computer science and economics...that's why im asking if it's possible to either transfer out of the engineering school after enrolling or could you do an interdisciplinary majors or similar thingy..like double major in computer science at school of engineering and economic,(as the 2nd or minor major ), in the business or CAS?

Thank you all!

You can do all those things very easily. End of story.

Yeah. Check for some of my prior posts re D switching out of engineering on first day of freshman classes. Easy stuff.

Yep, no worries at all. Many students do take classes in multiple schools. I know a student who is doing a combination of economics and computer science, actually, and it seems to be working quite well for him. (I think he is much more focused on the computer science aspect, however).

Switching schools is very simple though. I did so my freshman year, and will probably need to do so again next year (i’m a confused person  ). Just make sure you keep on track with your pre-requisites and general requirements and you’ll have no problems at all.

Yes, no problem. Current junior (almost senior) in the Engineering School with a major in Systems Engineering. Second major in Economics (ArtSci). Minor in Business/Finance (Olin).

AWESOME!!
thank you guys so much!

Nooobie - I just want to know if you and Nooob are related. LOL

nooo, not at all.lol
