Need Rec. For next SAT...

I just took the January SAT and thought i did O.K.I plan on re-taking but don't know when.I was thinking of re-taking it October but then i wont have a chance to do E.D. for colleges with new SATS and instead would have to use the January one.

Should i take March , May , June , or October? And when would you recommend i take my SAT IIs?

I have to prepare more the SATS as i want to get 2200 and i am hitting only 1950.

ED schools take October tests usually. It depends though on the November one though.

Take the SAT IIs when you finish the corresponding subject in high school. So May and June are usually good bets.

Take March SAT
Take May SAT II (if you are awesome at math, take IC and IIC on the same day.)
Take June SAT

If June is great score, then go take SAT II October.

Yeah and ill take every other sat as well -_-'

I am only taking it twice and i just took the january one...

But thanks guys for those great SAT II suggestions

Any other experienced SAT takers have anything to say about this?

I need your guidance as my G.C. is really dumb..

Here in Texas you don't have that much support =(

shimshimhey, y would someone take moth Math IC & IIC if they're good at math? wouldn't ppl who are UNSURE of their math skills take both?

Just asking, because I'm planning to take Math IIC, and I wan't to know if colleges look at taking both maths as irrelevant or not

If you can, don't leave testing until Oct/Nov/Dec of your senior year. You'll have enough things to worry about that of year, and the last thing you want is to add SATs if you don't need to.

There is no sense in taking both Math Level 1 and 2.
Most people take Level 2. It has been discussed many times on the SAT Subject Tests forum.

Assuming you're a junior, I really don't recommend taking the SAT's pretty late in your senior year. During your early senior year, you will have to deal with apps and stuff. And if you push back your SATs, you could put a lot of anxiety on yourself considering how close the deadline is. If you can, you should try to finish SATs before the next school year, meaning SAT june? If you do well on the June test, you can then relax during the summer, and your studying burden won't be as heavy; all you would probably need to study is SAT IIs.
Besides, you shouldn't force your life into hours and hours of studying when that summer is going to be your second to the last summer before you go to college! Unless you didn't get the score you wanted, then I guess go for it? haha.

Win8282: i mean, like on the same day take both.. its really strssful to take it on the same day..
