I want to attend to a PHD programme with the major in the field of ultrasonic imaging~~Does anyone know some university in which the research in ultrasonic is famous? Please recommend it to me! Thank you!!

I suggest you actually read up on the literature in that field. If you’re not willing to read the research and learn who is doing what, then you probably shouldn’t be looking into such a program. Doing a lot of reading will not only help you to learn more about the field and be better prepared for your own research, but it introduces you to the big (and not-so-big) names and programs in the field. When you apply to programs you will have to read up on the prospective advisors’ work anyway so you can write about why you want to work with them and why you want to attend that particular program. Being a grad student will require a lot of reading and keeping up-to-date on research in your field, so you might as well start now and prepare yourself so you can sound confident and knowledgeable in your applications.

Sorry, I’m not familiar with that field. I agree with NovaLynx that researching schools to apply to is a graduate level project and should be given that kind of focus. REading the literature is a good way to identify schools as is networking with recent PhD graduates vis LinkedIn to see what schools they considered. An advanced search there by keyword may turn up a list of people to look at (even if you don’t contact them, look at their degree info).
