Need Recommendations for ACT Books (Especially for Science!)

Hi,

I have recently completed the red peterson ACT book as well as the Princeton Review 1,296 questions book and the princeton review book with 3 practice tests.

I am looking for more practice. I bought the McGraw Hill 10 ACT Practice tests book and found it horribly inaccurate. I also purchased the Baron's 7 ACT Practice Tests book and plan to complete it soon.

So, I am looking for suggestions on which books to do next. What books out there have most realistic practice tests? Please bare in mind, I am mostly trying to focus on science so if you know of any books that are especially good for the science that'd be very helpful!

Thanks so much :)

The Barron’s ACT 36 is pretty good. I just finished it. Not a lot of practice questions, but it has a lot of tips for each section, how to approach them, and how to pace yourself.

I would recommend The Real ACT by Perterson. It consists the actual ACT tests used in the past. I used it to study and boosted my composite score by 2 points ( 2 points in science portion too).

The OP has already completed that book and was looking for something else.

you should try getting the Kaplan book, it worked wonders for me!
