Need Scheduling Advice

Ok, so I'm trying to plan out my second year's schedule as an eecs major. For Fall 09, so far all I have down for sure is CS61B... with Hilfinger.. who I hear gives insane amounts of work. I'm a semi-lazy person.

With that in mind, I'm trying to decide how to fit in the remaining lower-div technical requirements that I have to take.

I definitely need to take either EE20n or EE40. I'm leaning towards EE40 based on what I've heard that it's "easier" than EE20n.

And other than those 3 classes, I need to somehow fit CS70, Physics7C, and CS61C in next year.

So how does this sound:

Fall 09:
CS61B
EE40
Physics7C

Spring 10:
CS61C
CS70
EE20n

Do you think this is fairly balanced? Should I try to fit in some humanities as well?

Also, I have a question about Physics 7c. Is it actually optional? If so, what's the benefit in taking it?

lol, i read it quickly and thought it was an incoming freshman’s schedule. i’m intended for haas, so I think I’ll pass on advice.

Looks good to me. I think EE 20N is easier than EE 40, though. I took EE 40 last semester and I’m taking EE 20N right now. EE 20N is about half the amount of work of EE 40 and once you understand the concepts you’ll do well. Just make sure that you have taken Math 54 before EE 20N for the above statement to be true. =)

how about taking math 54 and ee20n concurrently, do you think that will be helpful also? cause i heard taking math 54 before ee20n will improve your grade by 10% xD

Hmm, ok, thanks for the input. I’m currently taking math 54 so I guess that’s a good thing.
