Need serious help choosing what to take ! :(

Im a 12th grader, i live in egypt and i took sat one and have scored 1400, However, i took this may sat test and i dont know if i will improve my score. It wasnt that good to me. I have one last chance to take the sat. I need to increase my percentage and i want to improve my sat score so i registered for sat 2. Im still hesitant about it, Do i take sat 2 or i shall not pass ? I have the chance to convert to sat 1 but i dont want to lose the chance as it increases my percentage, or do i cancel and get back to sat 1… i wont be able to take the sat 2 after i graduate from school, ill only be able to take sat 1. I really need help from someone who has been there or someone who can help as i dont know what to do. Some few days left and i cant wait till my score is out because the deadline is May 8 (4days left). I would really appreciate anyone who would help !!

Another question: What universities would you recommend to me?

Guys i really need your opinion!

Well, you should have focused on the SAT1 from a long time ago. I don’t think it’s properly to take the SAT2 if you haven’t searched for the school that require it. There are schools that would accept you. Your best friend is GOOGLE.

I mean. It really increases my percentage. and i have t either take sat 1 or 2. This is my last chance to take sat 2 but i can have more chances to take sat 1 if i went to college the second semester(if that happened) I really am concerned because i dont know if i will pass sat 2

SAT 2 subject tests are not required by most universities, and when a subject test is required it will be a specific subject based on what major you plan to pursue. It is not even clear which subject tests you signed up to take, and what major you want to study, and where you plan to apply. I would recommend taking the SAT I again, and only apply to universities and degree programs that do not require an SAT 2, since you said you might fail the SAT 2 anyway.

There are literally thousands of universities and colleges in the USA, including several hundred that are very good. Many websites provide extensive reviews and information on universities in the USA, to help you choose where to apply. If you really have no idea where to begin, then consider where you would like to live first. If you would love living in a big city like New York City or Boston or Los Angeles or Miami, then you can simply start searching for universities in those locations. All major cities have plenty of options. You can also just browse this list: http://www.usnews.com/education/best-global-universities/rankings

Thank you so much for your help, i will check the link but i dont think i will apply to any university outside egypt. But you;re right, though a lot of people told me that its easy to get 1000 in sat 2. But you’re totally right! im thinking about converting

why would you be taking SAT1 or Subject tests if you’re not applying to universities outside of Egypt?
What do you call SAT2, subject tests, and in this case which specific tests are you talking about?
You could try to take the ACT, too - registration is soon.

Because its required in egypt as well for american diploma students

1000 in SAT Subject Tests? What do you mean?
