Hello, I am currently a student at Michigan State (MSU) and I was recently accepted to the University of Michigan (umich). I am having some trouble deciding whether or not to go so I was wondering if some of you could give me some advice. I am currently a sophmore studying business at MSU with intentions of majoring in supply chain management (MSU has the #1 program in the country). If I decided to transfer to umich which is one of the best public schools in the US I would likely be getting a degree in economics because getting a degree from their business school requires 3 years and that is not worthwhile since I can graduate from MSU’s business school (broad) by the end of next year. My main interest in college is learing about businesses and the business world in general I dont really care much for supply chain management I just chose it because it is a highly ranked business program at MSU. My main question is do you think a degree in economics from umich is worth pursuing when I can get an actual business degree from broad at MSU? Cost does not matter to me at either school because I am eligible for a good amount of financial aid. Thanks!
