Need Some Advice on Memorizing Vocabulary

Hi Guys,

I am going to take the SAT this May, and I really need some help studying vocabulary. What are some things that you guys do that help you with memorizing vocabulary? Previously, I read through each page of the Princeton Review WORD SMART book. My approach was obviously incorrect upon reflection, but I really wanted to squeeze in as many words as I can. Now that I identified what is wrong with my approach, I am looking for ways to effectively memorize the words as quickly as possible yet retain them for a longer period of time so that I can still use them even after the SAT.

Thanks for all your help fellow CollegeConfidential'ers

Quizlet com helped me a lot  You memorize your own made lists through tests and games.
