wow, that's like my scores, almost identical, check out my post too*, but i think u have as good a chance as anyone depending on ur major, assuming engineering yes at all... but it's a coin toss :)

bump......................

Your SAT Verbal score needs work. For most of the Ivies, it's about 90 points below average. If you apply as an International student, you may need to take the TOEFL (probably necessary in the light of your SAT I Verbal score).

I don't really have a basis on which to judge your extracurriculars, but I'll assume that they neither help nor hurt you. Meaning, they're strong, but only average in the pool for the Ivies. If you have very strong academics but extras that are only "average" in the pool, your extracurriculars will help or play a neutral role, rather than hurt you.

Assuming your essays and recs are very good, I think you should get into a good number of those schools. However, you need to be sure they ARE very good in comparison to some of the people in the national pool. It just really comes down to showing that you are a person who has something to add to the school community.

Joey

i know that my verbal score is low....however, i'm sure they will understand it......
my ECs are mostly music, and i go to Juilliard pre-college...(cello)....this probably helps me a lot...

the average sat verbal can't be 700, maybe mid 600's that would suck if it were 700 though...
