I signed up for the SAT II World History test months ago (when I signed up for the AP Euro test). I'm not prepared because I'm in an AP European History class and the SAT II is on World History. My GC advised me to sign up for this SAT II. I got the book yesterday (June 4th Test Date), and realized how much I don't know.

Should I just not take it? Is that even possible? Or should I just study up? (finals are the week after)

What do you CCers think?

Do what I do; lock yourself in a room, library, whatever, and study until you know the material cold.

The test is on June 2, btw.

the day of the test you do not have to take the world history one you just take whichever one you want

I was off on the test day. Nuff said.

I mean, is there a way where I can just not take it at all?

If I do badly, will it even matter? I heard colleges only look at the 2 top scores...

@ Ashraf - That's what I did for the AP Euro test. This stuff is self teaching...

If you don't show up on test day (including if you let them know you won't), you'll lose your money, but nothing else will happen.

Whether colleges look at SAT IIs at all, how many and in what way is specific to each college. :)

Thanks. I'll research more and talk to my GC. I live in CA and I know the UCs only look @ two.
