Hello everyone. Im looking for a great business program for me and I want to major in accounting. I am trying to decide between Tulane, Baylor, SMU, TCU, and maybe some others. I want warm weather and a nice networking in the south, primarily in Texas. Does anyone have any info about these schools? Thanks

Tulane: If you are looking at business, their specialty is finance. Most finance majors move to New York after graduation and do well with placement. Nationally, Tulane has a great reputation. Prominent areas are Boston, New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut. The campus is beautiful and historic. I dont think anyone else will have the social experience you would receive at Tulane, which I would consider the best in the country.

Baylor: Excellent accounting program and business school. The school is on the rise, having lower numbers due to the students being admitted to their athletic programs. In Texas, it is very strong in Houston, San Antonio, and Waco. The campus is very pretty, however it is located in the small city of Waco. The school is very tight knit and most people in Waco are Baylor students.

SMU: Excellent business school. The best networking you could have in Dallas. Either Baylor or SMU you will have the same situation after graduation. The campus is beautiful and surrounded by a palace of houses more expensive than Beverly Hills (15 million dollars or more). The school is primarily white.

TCU: I would say this is a good school, although it does not hold much weight to SMU, Baylor, and Tulane. TCU is well known in Fort Worth.

Depending on where you would like to live after graduating, if you are set on accounting, I would go with:
- Baylor
- Tulane
- SMU
- TCU
