Need Some Advice

<p>First of all, greetings to all of you & Hats off to this great community you have here.
I'm an aspiring medical student, currently doing 12th ISC board @ Mumbai.
I've opted for sciences & computer, no math( The semester ends by march 2011 end)</p>

<p>I'm interested in knowing which all colleges are well known & have had good academic outputs.
I need to know both national & International options.
I'm currently writing, AIPMT, Mht-CET, AFMC-Pune, Kerala-CET, Manipal Entrance, Amrita Inst. Kerala Entrance, & most probably JIPMER & CMC Vellore.
I'm also interested in knowing about colleges in foreign areas. So I would be grateful , if you could guide me through procedures & provide me with good advice & What all I need to do.
I'm looking forward to doing MBBS as undergraduate course, though I'd like some opinions on other courses I could do in the medical field, one that has good scope in the future. I've read about certain IVY leagues & colleges, and that they require your achievements & extra-curricular activity related stuff. I'd like to say I wasn't really active in sports/art fields, but I have some academic exam related laurels, have participated in Indian Model United nations conference, as an international delegate etc.
So I'm just looking for tips, advice, & some help.

<p>Boston university has this accelerated 7 year programme which is highly selective… much more selective than the ivies…
check it out…</p>

<p>^^ BU’s seven year program is almost impossible to get into for internationals.
The first Indian to get into it was a 2014 student. I know her personally. Oh and she was a US citizen. She was also on w/l for JHU.</p>

Delhi has many feeder schools Ani and Modern is one of them.
(Two Yale early acceptees, one stanford along with many more I suppose)</p>
