Was hoping anyone had some advice regarding any majors in the field of Business/Econ/ or Possibly Mathematics. Currently I am attending my local CC, I had previously attended the University of Arizona (wasn't a good fit for me socially) and accumulated 46 units. As of now I have GPA of 2.93 and am hovering around the 70 unit mark. By the time I apply, and have completed all of the pre-req's, I will have 89 units and hopefully a 3.18 GPA. So...which programs are the most realistic for myself in the UC system. My EC's are pretty solid as well, working for my county's Econ. Development Board, member of my CC's Math Club, and helping my father revamp his travel business. Any advice would be appreciated! Also if it help I am Disability student (involved in the Disability Resources Program at my CC).

No one has any ideas?

UCR, UCM, and possibly Davis and UCSC.

^ good advice

I’m your prodigy.

Lol, I’m flattered.

If you can some how get a 3.2 you can TAG to UCIrvine, Santa Barbra, San Diego, or Davis. These would be the next best UCs behind LA nd Berkley…and at a 2.9 you might be able to get into one of these depending on ur major.

could I be your prodigy too? lol

Actually not UCSD, to TAG there you now need a 3.5 GPA, but you should try for a 3.2 to TAG the other UC’s

@fredfrep

lol, sure why not.

@Ramfan, I exceed the unit total for Davis, it’s capped at 80. Thanks though

try to get 3.2 before fall semester and tag uci major in business econ or whatever. However, business administration is popular among UCs so you will have a hard time to get in any with 3.1. On the other hand, you have a chance at other UCs such as ucsb, ucd, ucsc, even ucsd depend on what major you apply for, of course unpopular major.
if you have any question regard about major visit assist.org. its very useful.
