<p>Hey everyone,</p>
<p>I'm about to start my freshman year. I'm thinking of majoring or double majoring in either IR, political science, economics, or public policy. Problem is, I have absolutely NO idea what to do after graduation. Ideally, I'd love to work in international relations or political consulting, but I'm not sure how big that field is, and if it even exists! Economic consulting would be an option as would working for NGOs. Eventually I'd like to get a PhD and become involved in academia but that is many years away. One thing I need to keep in mind is that I am an international student, so it would be harder to get jobs in the United States.</p>
<p>If anyone could give me any kind of advice as to what I should start looking for or different career possibilities, that would be fantastic. Please no I-Banking or any heavy finance kind of stuff; I'd also like to have a life haha.</p>
