Hi there. I have several questions that need to be answered before I start my freshman year in college. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This summer, instead of doing nothing academically, I decided to take Calc 1 and business calc (I took BC in high school and aced the class). Will it look bad to colleges if I took these courses through a community college to save money?

Should I use my AP Bio credit (got a 5 and aced the class) and move on to "cell biology" or should I take the general class (Which would be, from what I hear at my university, easier--- thus giving me a, supposedly, higher grade). Would Med schools care?

My school only allows for a maximum of 19 hours in one "quarter". Here is my schedule:
Cell Bio/Gen Bio 5 hours
Chem 4 hours
first year seminar 4 hours
Leadership class 2 hours
Elements of Linear Algebra (pre-req is algebra and trig) 4 hours
How does the schedule look? Doable?

Since the maximum amount of hours possible is 19, I was thinking of also taking a class through a community college online (calc 2). This is where it gets tricky. With the calc 1 class I am taking now, I will get 5 semester credits--- but my school runs on a quarter system. Thus, I would get credit for only 1 quarter of single variable calc. Yet, if I take calc 2 through the community college, I will get credit for all three quarters of single variable calc. Would med schools look down upon me if I take calc 2 through the community college?

Finally, do med schools care if you are in an "honors program"?

Thanks again!!
