Need some help. Concerned about my GPA but I do have upsides.

So I just finished my AAS in Electronics Engineering program. I started off with straight A's and started underestimating it and not taking it seriously. This led to some really bad grades. However in my last semesters and upper level classes I achieved almost all A's (Including straight A's in my last semester.) I finished with a 2.94 GPA. I have applied to about 12 jobs, got a few call backs, a couple interiews but nothing solid yet.

I do have some job experience though. I worked up at Global Foundries wiring their power supplies for their robotics via contract. This was before I recieved my diploma.

Do I have cause for concern when it comes to admissions and/or job opportunities?

Is this a 2 year program?

Well, you averted the instant weed-out. Prove yourself despite the low GPA.

Yes its an Associates in Applied Science Degree. I plan to eventually try to go for a Bachelor’s at RPI but trying to get it paid for on the employer’s dime.

And thanks that is true. There were close to 40 in our starting class. Now its been weeded down to about 6. In fact 4 since 2 others started at different times.
