Need some help here

<p>Hi all. This is my first post on this forum.</p>

<p>I'm currently a sophomore at UT Arlington but I'm looking to a college that I feel a part of, a college that fills me with pride. I attended Xavier University in 2007-08, and UTA since Fall '08. My big problem is waiting too long to decide to go to another college, and the window is closing very fast (UT Austin's application deadline for transfers is March 1...damnit). My GPA is pretty good (3.89) and my major is in Economics..</p>

<p>Right now I'm looking at Texas Tech but I'd like to see more options. I'd like to hear from people who transferred to the right school and what school that is. I fear that if I graduate from UTA I will regret it for the rest of my life.</p>

<p>Apply to UT Austin and Texas Tech and decide later. Just get your apps in. You’ll have time to ruminate over the final decision later.</p>

<p>Have you thought about any of the great LACs there in TX? Southwestern, Austin, Trinity? The sense of identity, community, and pride can be impressive in those types of schools.</p>
