<p>For a long time I've had a very strong interest in Washington and Lee. I interviewed there, visited, and made them my Early Decision. I was pretty sue I had a good chance with their relatively high Early Decision acceptance rate, but apparently I was wrong. I was rejected/referred today. I'm starting to think I was very overly optimistic about my stats.
If someone can look at these and tell me what schools should be my target etc. I would strongly appreciate it. (my current favorites are Davidson, Emory, Yale, Princeton (these two are probably veery far reaches), Duke, and as safety UGA</p>
<p>about me:
*homeschooled until halfway through high-school. I went to a co-op where I received a classical education that included a huge amount of literature. two years of latin, etc (history, grammar, rhetoric, logic). Meanwhile my father taught me math.</p>
<p>Starting Sophomore year I went to a small local private Christian school to get my science education. As a Sophomore I took Chemistry, then as a Junior I took AP Chem. Chem was and is one of my weakest subjects, and I scored a very disappointing 3 on the exam. </p>
<p>Sophomore: PSAT: 220 NMSF
ECs: intern for PoliSci professor at UGA. Worked as dishwasher for restaurant, teen volunteer for local hospital, mock trial team: witness</p>
<p>Junior: SAT (after a few tries) superscore: 2300 (math:750, CR: 760, Writing: 790), intern for professor at UGA, competitive mock trial team: co-attorney, two outstanding Georgia attorney awards, regional and district champions. pioneered International internship to work in hospital in Pretoria South Africa, partially overseen by local university. intern for a Georgia US congressman-elect. playing soccer on rec team.</p>
<p>Senior: in progress, head attorney on mock trial team, cumulative GPA ~3.89, playing soccer for school, and in process of applying for places. </p>
