<p>Phoenix…It doesn’t look like there is one set amount. It looks like the amount will vary depending on a student’s stats and the school’s desire to have that student.</p>

<p>It gives no indication whether non-residents are given bigger scholarships to cover the high non-resident costs.</p>
<p>Here’s a tidbit on the average merit scholarship at URI</p>
<p>Average non-need based merit scholarship: $3,992</p>
<p>That doesn’t look like they give a lot to non-residents, but I could be wrong.</p>
<p>Also, it says that test scores and app must be rec’d by Dec 1st.</p>
<p>Thank you mom2collegekid. But I heard that the scholarship "the Centennial " goes upto a Full Tuition. Not sure though.</p>
<p>Forced triples for Freshmen are the norm at URI, if that should be a concern for you.
Many upperclassmen live off campus. If housing is important to you, I would just like to point that out. Good luck!</p>
<p>Oh geez the test scores must be received by 12/1? Great-my order at College Board is still pending after weeks-guess we can scratch URI off the list.</p>
