I had my college list pretty nailed down. However, I recently got something in the mail from Knox College. The offer was to make me a "priority applicant." The benefits of this were pretty enticing: Free application, automatic scholarship consideration, and best of all, admissions decision in 14 days. I had heard Knox College is decent, so I want to look into it a little bit, but I just know nothing about it. About how good are their programs in Economics or Business? If possible, please compare it to the programs of some more mainstream universities. Also, do they have enough Japanese classes for a full minor? Any of this or just any other random info about it would help alot. Thanks in advance.

Did you spend any time on their website? It looks very clear to me that they offer a minor in Japanese. If you can apply at no cost what do you possibly have to lose? Apply and see if you get an offer of money.

Even better, find time to visit school. You are from IL, right?
It is excellent school in many regards, they have strong Economics and business program.
They have honor code so you can take your exams unproctored. Their motto friedom to flourish and it is followed. Dorms are suite like which means there are several double or single rooms which come to common living room. Knox has been getting increasinly popular for last two years people were overenrolling there, this year class is bigger than expected by 100 students.
Great academic reputation. But it is college not for everyone. It is only 1300 students and school has very friendly homey feel to it. Everyone knows everyone pretty quickly. Profs will be your friends as well as mentors. If you looking for anonimity it might not be school for you.

Gadiel, I have to agree with Lindalana. My daughter just started at Knox and although she's only been there a short time, she loves it. She has been able to get involved in many things that she never tried before. She has found the classes to be interesting and the people super friendly. It may be well worth your time to take a trip out there. I think you can get a real solid education there.
