need some information to get into a college! I'm in kinda rare situation

hi all,
let me talk little bit about myself first for your better understanding.

I'm from South Korea, high school graduated, and I came to USA about 3 years ago.
I've been in the US Navy for an year and half now.

I really want to go to college to experience what normal people do and become a doctor(don't laugh) to help people.

I don't know if I can make it thru.
I didn't study at all when I was in high school. But when I came here and underwent some hard time by having a barrier of language, lack of confidence, failing the acceptance test from community college and the shame.. all these things have made me study and I feel pretty confident about the pursuit of study. And also I think that I can become a doctor one day.

but here's the thing that I have no clue about.
I want to go to good college, but I don't have any extracurricular activity experience like others do. I can take care of SAT or community services which I'm doing it, but I can't go back to high school and participate the activities.
(well, I played trombone during my high school years. I don't know if they would consider that as extracurricular activity. we didn't win any competition..TT)

So please give me some suggestions/information about what I should do to add extracurricular activity to get into good college.

Thanks.
have a nice day.

Talk to your base education office. They can help you find a local school to start. Then when you get out of the Navy and are ready to attend full time you’ll have some CC credits with (hopefully) good grades to show.

Oh I totally forgot about the education office in the base! Yeah I will check it out when I come back from deployment. I’m leaving tomorrow. Thanks for the input!
