Need some major advice, please!

Here's my situation,

I was accepted into UCLA (Hooray!) and now i am fighting from being revoked. I am taking Calc III at a community college and right now i have a D.

I was thinking about dropping it because i don't even need it
a. I already fulfilled my Math A-G requirements (3-4 yrs, 3 years HS and Trig at the CC)
b. I didn't even pass the Calculus BC AP test... :( so i would have to start over in college....
However i put it on my application and your suppose to complete all your classes that you list there.

FYI my other senior year grades
AP Eng 4 B A
AP Bio A A
AP USH B A
AP Chem A B
Econ A
Gov A

Calc Class that i wish i never signed up for- D (Currently)

The reason i am doing so bad is because the class is held on Monday and Wednesday. I am trying to get Eagle Scout but in order to do so i must attend a certain amount of meetings which are only held on Mondays, the same time as class. So basically i have to sacrifice between the two. I thought i could do it but now its really catching up to me and i am not doing so well in the class. (Also the CC is really far...i don't know if that has anything to do with anything)

I have been fighting this problem for 2 weeks now. I have e-mailed and talked to a UCLA admissions officer and they said "We cannot answer hypothetical questions" and in one of the e-mails, " You need to decide if dropping this course will violate the provision."
I asked them if i could talk to anyone that can answer my question but they said no. (If you guys really think you have a solution and want to read the whole entire e-mail, don't hesitate to ask me)

So can you guys think of any easy solutions, preferably something where i can drop and still be safe. (I want to drop the class ((I have until the 17th to drop)) ...but i have to risk an evaluator analyzing my app and possibly revoking, but at the same time i don't want to get a D, that will probably be worse.) I really don't know what to do...(Other than to study hard and get a C, but this will be hard to pull off)

dont you just need to maintain abvoe a 3.0 gpa from being revoked? i am sure if all your other classes are A's/B's then it's ok.

na dude,
straight from the contract

"Maintain Academic Performance
Complete your senior year program with the same high standards you have demonstrated thus far. You must complete the senior year classes listed on your application with at least a minimum overall unweighted B average and no grade lower than a C. If your grades drop significantly, you receive any D or F grades, or your class schedule changes, notify our office immediately. (See Contacting UCLA section.)"

but from what ive heard you just need to maintain a 3.0 or above. a lot of seniors once admitted get senioritis and their grades begin to stagnate and don't do as well as they did during pre-senior years and none of them unless they got all d's get their admissions rescinded...

Funny how I've already got the D and we're basically in the same boat (my D was from the first semester and I dropped it)

It makes me sick that neither of us can enjoy our lovely UC acceptances because dropped the ball on a class that a] we don't even need and b] wish we've never taken.

Best of luck to both of us.
