Need some Math subject test advice

Well so far i have taken Math II as a subject test and ive completely bombed it. I got a 640 which is pretty terrible considering how huge the curve is. Anyway my question is whether if i take math I and get around a 720-740 would that look better then my math II score? Do colleges largely favor Math II compared with Math I? or should i try to study over this summer and hope to do better in Math II during the fall?

It depends on what schools you are looking at. Top caliber schools really prefer math II, and I think overall it is favored. If you can’t get the score you want, why not try a different test?

Well mostly im looking at Hopkins haha. The reason i took math II was because i thought top schools almost required some type of math SAT II.

They don’t require it at all. Take what you are good at.

haha thanks >_<.

Yeah, unless you’re doing engineering, go for the subject tests you will do best in.
