<p>So do I! That's why I need to cut down my college list.</p>

<p>Asian Male
California Resident
Upper Middle class...but my parents will only pay for the "prestigious" colleges.</p>

<p>So..colleges are:
UC's
Berkeley
San Diego
Los Angeles
Santa Barbara
Davis</p>

<p>Cal Poly SLO
Cal Poly Pomona</p>

<p>USC
Tulane
Drexel
ASU
NYU
UofIll @ Urbana
UMich @ Ann Arbor
Cornell
Columbia</p>

<p>I guess my stats would be useful too.</p>

<p>GPA: UC 3.85 UW 3.80 UW School does not offer AP/IB/Honors
SAT: 580 CR 650 M 550 W ... Obviously will retake.
SAT II: 650 Math II 600 US History
ACT: 30</p>

<p>Extracurriculars aren't spectacular, lots of leadership roles like President of clubs and Student Government. 400+ hours of community service at elementary school.</p>

<p>Based on my stats, which colleges would be pointless to apply for? Want to get list down to around 7-10</p>

<p>What’s your prospective major? The schools you picked are good in different areas. UIUC and UMich are excellent for ChemE. USC is business.</p>

<p>I was thinking business are my major, but I’ve currently decided to go pre-law, which is in a way business.</p>
