These are my schools (I have safeties like UMich etc, not on this list)

I want to do bioengineering (so will be an engineering applicant)

Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Princeton University
Stanford University
California Institute of Technology
Harvard University
Upenn
Brown
Washington University in St. Louis
Columbia University
Johns Hopkins
UC Berkeley
Carnegie Mellon
Northwestern University
Rice University
Cornell

you have a good chance at getting into all these schools.

yo is there like some method of getting your post responded to-i'm new to this

Obviously everything on your list is more or less a reach.

I would be less than confident about: Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, MIT, Berkeley, CIT and Brown.

Stanford, out of state kills. Ditto with Berekeley. I can assure you that they can find another 200 kids from New Jersey just as qualified if not much more qualified than you.

Ditto with HYP. And MIT. And CIT.

Brown is just picky. You don't seem 'interesting' enough for Brown to really want you.

The only reason I'm NOT too worried about UPenn or Columbia is because Columbia's engineering program isn't that popular and UPenn isn't too picky.

i know most of those are reaches- but what schools (maybe some not on my list) are between say UMich, and the ones on my list that I'm more or less in

bumpbumpbump

honestly i don't care if you tell me i'm screwed or whatever- but seriously if ur going to look at the thread, it takes about 10 seconds to weigh in

is there anybody out there?

You're a very well qualified candidate; the problem is that the superselective schools on your list are unpredictable. Apply to most of them and you'll get in somewhere. Do you intend to apply anywhere EA/ED?

You're an extremely qualified candidate who will definitely get into a top school. The Ivies are just so unpredictable, though, so it's tough to tell if you will be able to make it in or not.

The - > is a dash and greater than sign, not an arrow.

My guesses:
Massachusetts Institute of Technology- >30%
Princeton University- >30%
Stanford University- >40%
California Institute of Technology- >30%
Harvard University- >40%
Upenn- >70%
Brown- >60%
Washington University in St. Louis- accepted
Columbia University- >70%
Johns Hopkins- accepted
UC Berkeley- >70%
Carnegie Mellon- accepted
Northwestern University- accepted
Rice University- accepted
Cornell- accepted

MIT/Caltech EA but i know that doesn't really help chances much-just want to find out fast
