Need some opinions...

I'm college student and have finished sophomore year ouside U.S.. Right now I consider to transfer to SUNY Buffalo as an international student. However, my GPA is horrible. In my freshman year, the GPA is 1.8 and 2.1. And sophomore is 2.3 and 2.4. Although I can provide an good explanation of the poor grades, I still need some opinions. Do I have a chance to transfer to UB? Or should I apply to other colleges?

p.s. I'm officers of 3 clubs, member of varsity tennis, and play in 2 different orchestras. Also I have hold many activities for schools or clubs. Is that enough for extracurricular?

Check the requirements that the university has. I will be honest here, but your chances of entering there or any university are slim with a 2.0ish average. Chances: Slim.

In case you haven’t had the chance to check it out:
[University at Buffalo](http://www.buffalo.edu/)

Check the website for requirements/contacts/questions/etc.

Good luck and PM me if you have any more questions.

Even though your ECs are solid, you are going to have to explain why your gpa is so low. Academics is always the first thing considered.

Hey, thanks for your opinions. : )
