<p>Which one do I pick? Im going to become a freshman in college starting september. Why do i see only two forms and what does the dates in the parenthesis signify?</p>
<p>2010-2011 FAFSA is for the 2010-2011 school year. If you are going to school in September 2010 then that is part of the 2010-2011 school year.</p>
<p>2009-2010 FAFSA is for the 2009-2010 school year that is already ongoing. If you were starting school this spring or summer (for some schools) it would be part of 2009-2010.</p>
<p>FAFSA is based on the school year, not a calender year.</p>
<p>What other forms were you expecting to see?</p>
<p>The first one is the one (2010-2011), if you are going to become freshman in college coming fall.</p>
