Need some suggestions on the prompt 4.

<p>Hello. In other posts I was asking for some suggestions for the prompt nr. 1 in common app. After some time of brainstorming I didn't find a story that would fit into that prompt properly and I changed my mind entirely. I want to write on the prompt nr 4. : Describe a place or environment where you are perfectly content. What do you do or experience there, and why is it meaningful to you?</p>

<p>I've been playing basketball for 6 years and that activity has been taking a major part of my free time. Is that a good idea to write about basketball game in detail and how I feel during that time? I'd like to mention my feelings, emotions and overall impressions I have while playing on the court? I know that this topic is a bit of a cliche, but really I don't have any other ideas. Should I focus solely on the game on the court or can I also show my unique way of spending time in the locker room (where I listen to my favourite motivational song trying to focus on the game) and on the warm up? I also like spending time playing on my local outdoor court. During that time I am ,,perfectly content'', feel relaxed and energized. </p>

<p>So finally, should I chose basketball game or basketball court as the place where I feel perfectly content?</p>

<p>If it’s a place where you are most content then it will end up as a good essay and be original. Don’t worry about cliche. You can make it your own.</p>

<p>If I were you I would focus on one aspect of it. For example, I chose this prompt and wrote about skiing. But rather than discussing my time skiing in general I approached it as a narrative about one run I skied with my dad. So maybe focus on playing one game? </p>

<p>Also make sure you answer the entire prompt, not just part of it.</p>

<p>And also keep a trait about yourself in mind that you want to convey through this essay. The admissions officer want to learn about who you are. Try to reveal something about yourself that doesn’t come through in the rest of your application. </p>
