<p>People who want their essays read can ask specific users to PM their essays to, or just say that they want anyone in general to look at their essays, and people willing to critique will respond to you. You can get your essay looked at by more than one person, as long as everyone is willing. Always ask before PMing someone your essay, unless that person has specifically posted that they do not mind people PMing them essays without asking first.
