need suggestions...

currently going to a comunnity college in MA, have a 3.55 gpa, will probably have a 3.6 by the time I graduate. Am I pretty much stuck with state schools such as UMass or do I have a shot at getting in better schools?

My short answer is no, but I advise you to check this place out:

GL!

No to the first or second question? Also, I created a thread there had to bump it 3 times and got no replies, so that’s why I’m posting here :)

No, you’re not stuck. Yes, you have a shot at other, better schools. Your ECs and reason/essay for wanting to go to whatever Uni will be important though.

I see. How does one go about doing EC activities? I don’t even know what that means to be honest. Is it like joining school clubs, etc? Would an internship count?

Yeah, ECs = extracurriculars. Doesn’t have to be clubs/school-related. Could be a job, internship, band, summer program, etc. Pretty much anything you can put on a resume to show passion/dedication/etc.

A lot will depend on money. If you don’t need aid there are many private colleges you can get into. Needing aid will reduce the number by a lot as most are looking for full pay or slight discount needed transfers.
