UVA OOS is a reach, Rochester and Wake Forest are probably high targets/low reaches, and I don’t know about Villanova.

kale,
In looking at your list of colleges, you might want to take into consideration some of the following comparisons to help you gauge how selective these colleges are. Please note that both U Virginia and U North Carolina are very difficult for OOS students with acceptance rates below 30% and 25% respectively.

hawkette,
I don’t even know how to thank you for these numbers. Do you know anything about Villanova because when I have brought it up in other forums no one really knew anything about it. Its not even rated for U.S. News top national universities. thanks.

Also if anyone knows any additional target schools that are not on the list, I would deeply appreciate it.

Villanova is ranked #1 in the Master’s north category.

Have you considered Miami U in Ohio?

teenage_cliche: yeah a little…they have a strong business school but how strong are they academically on the whole?

Kitty: yeah whenever i search them only their rankings of masters and business school comes up but nothing about the undergrad education

Well, I don’t know what you are looking for about their undergrad education, but they are ranked 4th (tied with Geneseo) for undergraduate teaching, behind Wagner College, TCNJ, and the University of Scranton. I believe this is a new category this year and recognizes the quality of schools that put their focus on their undergraduates.

According to Princeton Review, their middle 50% SAT scores are CR 580-680, M 620-710, and W 590-680, with average GPA at 3.86, so I would think it could be a match for you.

thanks guys appreciate it
