Need the reality of it! Please chance me

Hello everyone! I need the reality of this all, what are my chances for UCI as a bio major.

Definitely messed up I think but counselors are telling I’ll be fine but I really don’t know.

Finished most of my pre reqs to transfer. Just need Gen Chem ii, o Chem 1 and 2, Bio 1 and Bio 2. I’ll be finished with it by the time I transfer and I hope since I transferred to a new ccc, I’m able to get better grades.

I currently have a 3.02. I messed up with the professors I enrolled in… got a D in gen Chem 2 when I took it (retaking it now), F in pre-calc (got an A after taking it the next semester, my professor failed everyone and the dean didn’t want to do anything sadly), W in bio 1 (retaking now), C in calc 1 and 2, haven’t taken physics yet (hope to take it at UCI), I have a part time job that I’ve been at since sophomore year of high school, I have internship hours at Kaiser from a high school program, and plenty of leadership experience.

I’m pretty sure all of it doesn’t matter except my GPA which is what worries me. I’m at 67 units and the cap to transfer with is 70 so I don’t know what to do. Do I have a chance of getting accepted to any UCs actually if I am able to get my GPA up by next fall? Any suggestions or tips?

Thanks!
P.S. sorry haven’t been on the forum since high school so I’m not sure how everything works on this forum.

UCI’s GPA admit range for Biology for 2016 (2017 data not available) was 3.25 to 3.76. I would imagine this years data is comparable if not higher.

Here is a link for all the UC’s and their transfer GPA admit range by major. See which campuses are your best bet based on your current GPA.
