<p>Hi guys i wanted to confirm a small detail about US grad applications. I am planning to do an internship in the company in which my dad works. I wanted to know if in US grad applications they ask where your dad works and if they do ask will this look bad on my application and give them a reason to reject it. The project i am going to do is very relevant to my field of interest and the field in which i am going to apply for an MS.</p>
<p>No, no one would ever ask you about your parents jobs. I feel like that would probably even be on the verge of seriously unethical.</p>
