I'd dump Penn, Brown, Hamilton, Trinity, Dickinson, and Loyala (MD).

Keep in mind that there's cold and there's COLD...though if a campus is small and/or compact, the COLD can be less of a negative factor.

if you can, maybe sometime between now and senior year... have an IDEA of what you want to major in? it's okay if you don't, but it saves you a lot of frustration in college. plus, if you know what you want to do, you can apply for guaranteed grad programs and stuff. i feel like if you have an idea on what you want to do, you are more confident and know what to do when the time comes. just a thought :) also, i don't know a whole lot about most of the schools on your list, but from what i DO know, here are my suggestions:

[Reach: Yale, Princeton, Dartmouth, Penn, Amherst, Williams]
choose 2 colleges from this list, MAYBE 3. i'd say choose between Yale & Princeton. i'd probably keep Penn... and i have no idea about amherst or williams.

[Target: Georgetown, BC, Hamilton, Bucknell, Lehigh, Holy Cross, Trinity]
you have a good list going of targets, which is excellent! choose 3-4 colleges from this list. i would probably keep georgetown and eliminate holy cross & trinity.

[Safety: Lafayette, Gettysburg, Franklin & Marshall, Villanova, Dickinson, Loyola Maryland]
way too many safeties. you only need 1-2 safeties MAXIMUM. remember, these are your safeties, which means you well exceed the minimum requirements. so chances are, you WILL get accepted. save yourself from a buttload of application fees since most people don't want to go to their safety schools anyways.

Disagree with dumping reaches (applying to a ton of reaches is hedging your bet), but I've never heard of anyone with this many safeties.

bump

anyone else have a suggestion?
