Do i have a chance in getting into engineering schools like UC Davis, UCSD, UCI, USC, Purdue, and CMU; even if i'm not ELC and have a somewhat lower gpa?

I think you have a legit chance at UCI and UCD because there were some people from my school that 3.4 weighted at 1900-2000 range SAT scores and got in even though they were ELC, UCSD might be a stretch since they are a competitive school in the science department. It really depends on what your majoring in, I know the admission officer at UCSD says they have some lee way for lower GPA's but high SAT Scores when i went on the tour. I really like your chances to UCI and UCD, they are great schools and not as competitive as people sought it to be. GOOD LUCK!!!
