i think i am applying to way to many unpredicable schools and i want to keep my options so i really ask yall to try and see if i have to many reach schools it doesnt really matter what my stats are i think i have a fair chance at most but i mean once u get inside the top 25 they can be very fickle....without any further ado...

Gtown(EA)
UVA and W&M(OOS)
Wake Forest
UNC(OOS)
Emory
Cornell(in-state....does this matter)

UPenn
Villanova

NY residents get lower tuition at the Cornell statutory colleges such as Agriculture, Human Ecology, and Industrial and Labor Relations. It would help to know your stats and choice of major.

Your schools are really not that unpredictable. If you have scores above the 50% at most, you have a good shot. Cornell and Georgetown above the 75%.

well i attend a pretty decent school usually send a kid to all ives and top schools...that being said i have about a 95.5 UW average with so far the max AP's that you can take since they put a limit on it and all honors classes....i dont really want to make this into a chances post but i guess ill give u all the background...

SAT: i have taken it 3 times is that ok: once was the old one and it was the last sitting in december

EC's nothing really major or outstanding just a couple sports and a part time jobs and volunteer work at a legal service( this could be pretty big but i only worked there for this summer and i love it i dunno if colleges will see the commitment issue that i kno they love but i have to live with that and make the best of it)

I intend to major in some business related field but at cornell i would apply to the Hotel Administration school.....Thanks for everyones time who looks and responds to my post

The Hotel school at Cornell is one of the best anywhere. Did you know that there is a general business major in the Agriculture school at Cornell that would have lower tuition for NYS residents? It is not just an Agri-business major. I think you have a good chance of getting in at Hotel.

is it easier to gain admission if you are a NYS resident its under my inpression that it is a public school but i have always thought that new yorkers dont really have that much of an edge i hope som1 proves me wrong
