I have a 4.0 GPA, top 5% of my class. A*s in O and A levels.
My SAT II Math 2 is 790 and physics is 770.
My SAT I is only 1920 gave it twice, only improved by 200, idk what is wrong with me :'(
Will give the ACT next month, but I am having trouble with too. I guess standardized tests are just not for me :'(
TOEFL ibt is 112.
Won awards for Physics twice in my school and a national award for my O level results.
Good extra curriculars, prefect and other things.
So do I even have a tiny chance at UCLA for engineering? :|

UCLA: Low reach

GPA is competitive but SAT below average of around 2100. For Engineering you need at or above average Stats for a decent chance.

:’(
Okay thankyou
Am I good enough for GeorgiaTech?

GT may be a high match or low reach due to SAT.
I hope you do well in ACT. Good luck.

What does high match mean?
And thankyou :)

It’s between match and low reach-like not def. hard to get in but not easy to say “you are in”

UCLA is an odd school…they do not weigh SAT scores as heavily as some schools. When schools say they are “holistic,” the UCs, in my opinion, stick to this mindset the best.

Your GPA is competitive and so are your subject tests. You have much more than a tiny chance, I’d say you have a very good chance. Keep in mind though that UCLA is the most applied to school in the US (maybe the world? I’m not sure but I’d bet it is) and there are a lot of people just as competitive as you. Hope your personal statements were great, they can often be a deciding factor for the UCs.

Ohh wtj212 that was so nice to read. Iam so relieved and i hope my personal statements were good enough too. Fingers crossed! :)
