Need to improve my score

I'm willing to put a lot of time into practicing for the SAT - I will be taking the October test for the second time

My scores the first time were no where close to what I am aiming for

I have until sept 13th to practice without worrying about school work, after the 13th I will have less time due to school starting

I have the blue book, princeton review, kaplan book and 1 qas as my resources to study

I am just wondering if there is any recommendation on how to improve my score or should I just practice as many tests as I can and review them? Or is there a better way
or
for example, when I practice should I do the test in 1 sitting or take 2 days for 1 test, etc.

There’s tons of advice in the [new sticky.](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/763933-new-feature-best-sat-prep-forum-faqs-please-read-before-posting.html) Take a look at the Xiggi method.

Alright so basically if I go through as many of TCB test as I can reviewing the problems I did correctly and incorrectly. I should be in a much better situation than my first time I took the test.

Anyways I have another question, Is there a spot where I can find explanations to some of the answers from the actual SAT?(I need explanations for some problems not just the answer)

Currently, I am reviewing the May 2009 SAT. I have the answers to the problems I got incorrect but for some of them I don’t know how they arrived at the answer. Is there a section on the forum I can ask? Or is it not ok to ask about specific problems from the SAT?

If you notice in the STICKY that you were SUPPOSED TO READ, there is a section of consolidated BB solutions. There are also sites (also in sticky) that provide BB explanations. You can also get a BB solution guide. A link is (you guessed it) in the sticky.

I corrected my post I found the BB explanations, I was wondering if I can find explanations to some of the problems on the May 2009 SAT
