Need to increase SAT scores

Hi,
I have been taking the SAT practice tests for a month now and I have been fluctuating between 1890-2010.(I got the 2000+ only once)
But with every test I study harder trying to get a higher score, but I end up getting the same score. No matter how much practice, I get the same score.
I have booked a date for my SAT on the 5th of May and 2nd of June. I have the whole month at my liberty, is there a way I can get to about a score of <=2100 ?
I really want to get there because it will mean the difference between a good college and an awesome college.
Please just help me here.

p.s. I use the Barron's book for practice and practice tests. I have done the collegeboard practice test. And I have Grubers and a couple of books more on pdf.

welcome to my world! :(

same case here…every time i try hard but still get 2040-2160 in Barron’s. I m just feeling nuts…:E

welcome to CC also! :)

btw Barron’s is really tough.

well, i am getting really worried now. I want to get that boost but somehow there is nothing i can do to get a better score!

Math-- PWN The SAT (It’s a book, just in case you didn’t know, lol.)
Everything else-- College Board.
Also, don’t go with The Princeton Review for help. I found a few errors in their books.
If I may ask, most recently, what has your score been per section?
Btw, I’m registered for those testing dates too!

I get around 650s in CR and writing, math i get about 700, but then, anyhow, i end up getting around the 1900 range. But what I want to know is, can I actually increase these score by about 200 points?

It’s possible! It all depends on you–How many hours you study, what materials you use, your comprehension level on whatever you are trying to improve on. It comes down to the fact that you need to realize what mistakes you are making on the questions that you have wrong and improve from there. Make sure that the study materials you are using is in the format of the SAT Test. Just keep practicing and if you need it or think that some 1:1 time is needed, try hiring a tutor. No, not a Craiglists tutor, someone who is qualified and verified. I’ve been studying a good bit for the May 5th! For some reason, time has really snuck up on me for this one…

The thing is, I have been studying and practicing for a month or a little more. I am getting a little better. But its just that little is no longer enough. I can devote this whole month, I can buy any books I want. I get my essays checked from a teacher at school(she knows this stuff). Now I just need that final thing so that I can get a good score in the actual test
