I need to know my serious chances at NYU as soon as possible, hopefully within the next 2 days.

SAT2- 660-Lit 530-Math 1
All Boys Catholic School
~86 or 3.5 GPA Unweighted
Cuban-Male
Recruited for track.

Good ECs
Good Recs
Lots of Community Service.

PLEEASEEEEEE HELP..thanks soo much.

I also forgot 3 APs total and 2 honors in all 4 years.
Got a 4 on the AP Eng. Language last year.
I'm taking AP Eng. Language and AP Econ this year.

Much better grades so far senior year all in the 90s, and my school is sending them.

Don't worry, I believe you are in, the other thing that taints your application is the math sat but I think being recruited for track definitely more than makes up for that.

best of luck but I dont believe you need it.

The GPA is a bit on the low-side, but your combined SAT score is pretty damn good. And then there's the Cuban aspect. I'd say you have a shot

Thanks so much, that puts my mind at ease somewhat with the issue I have.

NYU has sports? Did not know that.

definitely apply. everything looks good. math seems to be weak though

but try not to worry too much

Yeah apply. You have a great chance :) also the Hispanic factor might help you a little.

Anyone else? Is anything horrible but the math?

With those stats, urm status, and being a recruit for track, I'd say you're pretty much a shoe in. I doubt you have much to worry about.

any other opinions on my chances? thanks so much.

which school are you applyin to?

College of Arts and Sciences

If not in then you'd definatly be GSPed.
