NEED TO KNOWW

Right now the schools I am looking at are:

Reaches:
Stanford
Penn
Duke

Normal:
University of Miami
UNC Chapel Hill
U Texas
UVA

UVA is my number 1 school right now, and I really want to know my chances of getting in (out of state)

GPA: 4.0/4.0
SAT: 790 writing, 770 math, 680 reading (trying to bring this one up)
I am taking two sat subject tests in june
I have taken 9 APs and am taking 6 more my senior year

I am in National Honor Society, National Society for High School Scholars, Spanish Honor Society, Math Honor Society, Key Club, a Peer Mentoring club, Student Government, and my class club. I tutor third graders in reading, and I have been a counselor with the Red Cross. Currently I am completing an internship at a national corporation. I also play on my school's tennis team.

You’re a great candidate for all these schools. As I’m sure you’ve found online, public schools are sometimes difficult for out of state applicants. I think you’re an ideal UVA and UNC out of state applicant but they’re both still considered a reach.

Stanford-super reach
Penn-reach, Apply ED for increased chances, it makes a real difference
Duke- reach, ED also makes a difference here
U of Miami - safety
U Texas…do you mean UT Austin? If so, it depends on state. In state = safety. Out of state is another story.
