Need to replace a school - Ideas of where I should apply?

<p>I completely missed the January 15th deadline for UMASS Amherst (Good thing it wasn't one of my top choices at all).</p>

<p>I want to replace that application, (possibly), with another school in the same general area of Mass/NY/Boston/Vermont, you know, the northern states.</p>

<p>I want the school to be some type of safety school though, while still being a good school.</p>

<p>Any suggestions? <p>Should I go for a Liberal Arts School? As they might be more interested in an applicant like me then other public/state schools?</p>

<p>And of course the schools would have to have later deadlines...</p>
