Need to report positive changes?

Last semester I was forced to withdraw from a course at my CC and take a 'W' due to personal issues I was having with the instructor. I reported the 'W' in my TAU and am retaking the class this semester. However, I decided to appeal to my school to have it wiped from my transcript, since the instructor's behavior was particularly unethical. A few weeks ago my appeal was approved (yay!), the course was removed from my transcript, and my money was even returned!

My question is: is it necessary to report this change to all the campuses I applied to? It seems silly, since it's a positive change, and I don't think the 'W' would have any effect on my admission since it's the only one I've ever received. Any thoughts?

Can you report that change, yes. I would, takes a few mins. Is it necessary, no. At the transfer level they just cross out W’s on your transcript. The only time W’s will really effect you is if you drop the same class multiple times, that will raise a flag for the admissions officers, esp. if it’s an important one for your GE’s and/or major.

Ok great, thanks for the help! :)
