Need to use one of BU's "suggested" Shakespeare monologues?

<p>They say they want one of the audition monologues to be classical, in verse, Shakespeare preferred, and they provide a list of suggested Shakespeare monologues for men and women.</p>

<p>We are wondering whether they would prefer hearing one of the suggested monologues or if they would be more impressed by a student who took the initiative to find a different one? Somehow I rather suspect the latter, but we're not sure.</p>

<p>Thought somebody here might know....if not, I guess we'll make a phone call.</p>

<p>It's the latter- I emailed last year, and they said those were just a good place to start.</p>
