Need transfer help! Might be shy of just a few units to transfer

Hi There,
Currently I am in my second year and community college. Overall GPA is roughly 3.2. I am taking 17 units this semester (film, ethics, accounting, econ, and english). My IGETC will be finished this spring, but I am still required to take 19 units (Manag. Accounting, Macroecon, Business Law, Calculus, and Speech).

I want to transfer to sonoma state. My problem is that there is a chance I may not pass accounting this semster and that would force me to have to retake it. No community college around me offers classes in the winter.

If I am 3-6 units shy of 60 will a state school even look at me? Will they let you take them during the summer?

Is not getting credit for one class really going to shove me over for an ENTIRE WHOLE YEAR of community college? I'm very worried.

ttt

nobody???

Nobody here has a bit of advice for me???

Come on..I know there are knowledgeable people on here..just take the time to write a response if you know anything.

Thanks,
Zach

Call the admissions of Sonoma State and ask if this would be a big factor. If they say it will and you have your heart set on that school, I'd take the class again. Or, you could take it over the summer and explain to the school somehow (call, e-mail, or write it on your application somewhere) that it will be taken care of by the time you enroll at their school.

Hope this helps! :]
