Need Urgent Help

If I take my SAT again, do I have to send it to colleges? On my common app, I told colleges that I was taking the SAT in January. All I am scared of is that I will get a lower score than the first time I took it. If I do get this lower score, do I have to send it? Even if some of my collges require all scores (ivies and privates)?

If they require all, then yes. But they only look at your highest score. For example, I sent to Ivy Leagues all of the following subject tests from two different dates: 640 and 670 U.S. History, 650 and 770 Chemistry, and 760 Math II. Since they only require two subject tests, they should only consider the 760 Math II and 770 Chemistry, and consider the rest a testimony of honesty. That would be ideal, but it’s hard to say what really goes through the heads of the admissions officers when considering applicants.

You’ll do fine! Good luck!
