Need Urgent Help

Hello I have a few questions I would like help on.

My GPA is 88/100 - I have taken about 10 honors classes and 1 AP my senior year ( This year )
SAT- Math-530 CR-590 Wr-550
Scheduled to take SATII - Math level 2 and U.S. History.

I am retaking my SAT and expect to get around a 1300.....have taken practice tests and gotten around this score after getting a tutor. I could possibly do better.

I play varsity basketball and lacrosse.
I will not need to apply for financial aid at any school I apply to.

I am white/male.

I live in syracuse, NY, but am looking to go to college in Florida or California but it doesn't have to be in Fl. or Cali.

Here is a list of colleges I am thinking about applying to - NYU, UMiami, USC(cali), university california san diego, UC santa barbra, San Diego State University, Pepperdine, UCLA, Berkeley, University of Florida

I also am getting recruited for Basketball around NY and the SUNY Geneseo coach told me I could get in there if I wanted to play there.

I know some of these schools are probably out of my reach but what I want to do is apply to a decent amount of schools and hope to get into a couple.

Questions:

1) Can anyone give me any other colleges I should consider?
2) What are my chances at some of these schools I listed?
3) How many community service hours should I stride for to help myself?
4) What SAT score would I need to have any chance at usc, berkeley, ucla?
5) Does out of state help me or hurt me?
6) Does not applying for financial aid help?

THANK YOU!

Why is your need URGENT?

it’s not sorry.

You’ve chosen the hardest UCs to get into. You don’t look competitive for them unless your rank is high and you raise your scores. You may want to choose others. Here’s what you’ll need:

[UC Admissions Statistics](http://www.ophs.opusd.k12.ca.us/uc_admissions_statistics.htm)

NYU and USC will also be major reaches.

Some schools you might look at are Fordham, LMU, Chapman, USD, Whittier, UCSC, UCR, UCM.
