voluntary work at my native village since 3 years ( 3 hours a week )
participated in physics, chemistry and astronomy olympiad</p>

<p>Hello poseidon226, it is good that u r aiming high but i don’t understand ur problem. haven’t u already applied to the schools u listed? how is somebody chancing u on CC going to help you? put ur mind at ease? </p>

<p>except for ur sat-1 cr everything looks good. places like caltech and harvey mudd may not care too much for this anyway. i m not so sure abt ivy leagues. i m assuming that u have good gpa/score/class rank and that u r taking on the most rigorous coursework possible in ur school. caltech/harvey mudd/mit might like ur toyota work. rest should be easier to get in with your stats.</p>
<p>lol, i have never heard of Arbana Champaign. top 10 schools are always going to be tough for any international applicant. those that are really really good don’t need help from fellow 18 year olds chancing them. they are the ones who get in early. </p>
<p>i notice that there r several well qualified ppl like u who think that they deserve admissions @ harvard, mit, … and life would be meaningless if they don’t get in. it is just 4 yrs of life. schools u look down upon as unworthy of ur presence r perfectly capable of producing well educated young men and women. within a few yrs nobody is going to care where u went to college for undergraduate studies. even if u went to harvard it is likely u will end up working with someone who went to penn state or similar school and u realize that person is just as knowledgeable productive, talented as u r and perhaps happier. </p>
