I really really need your advice upon this matter :):

I took the SAT this morning and I believe I screwd up completely (no hyperbole !!!). Definitely retake but I encounter a few problems. I signed up for Dec Math IC&IIC but it's obviously not as important as SAT I (I apply to all liberal colleges, rank 10st and below)). Should I change Dec SAT II to SAT I or register for Jan SAT ? Retaking in Jan may give more time to prepare but it's perhaps too late (say, January 27 is the test date and scores are on February 15, so it must be March when scores reach admission officice [just my guess]. I'm afraid they already make decisions at that time:(). So, what should I do now, change the Dec test or retake in Jan ? (such a quandary)

Thanks hazmat ! Some say it is optional or highly recommended. But I want to take to strengthen my application :)
Should I change SATII to SAT I in Dec or wait till Jan 2 retake the SAT I ? Changing test type is a little bit complex but Jan may be too late becuase I guess it must be March when scores reach admission officice (can anyone clarify this?).I'm afraid they already make decisions at that time :]

Changing test type is complex? Is that due to your location? You can easily change your test type. I'd take the SAT1 again as soon as you can manage to. Then take your SAT2s. Many kids use SAT2s to gain advance placement in college courses or to meet the requirement for say a language.
Just remember: Highly recommended does not equate to REQUIRED. If none of your schools require two SAT2 scores then move to the retake of your SAT1.

I agree that if colleges don't require SAT IIs, retake the SAT I.

Also, rather than conjecturing about how long it will take for colleges to get your scores, you will find that most college wibsites will tell you the latest SAT date they will take for admissions.

Thanks you guys for your inputs :)
I may follow your advice about retaking the SAT I in Dec if possible, since in my case it's much more vital than the SAT II.
@hazmat: as for changing test type, I'm really clueless cuz I'm not sure whether there are any places left for the SAT I in my city. But two of my friends got high scores this Oct and decide not to retake it in Dec, so there are two seats. Can my friend call CB and say his place in the Dec SAT will belong to me to make sure I can take it ? (of course, I will pay the 20.5$ fee)
Btw, what's ESL ?
@pinnipotto: trust me, I've browsed through their websites and I can't find if they accept Jan test. But even if they accept, I'm under the impression that it's way too late. They may make a decision already by the time scores reach :(
