If you send an SAT score report, all noncancelled test scores up to that time will be sent. (You can't cancel after you find out the scores BTW!) You can retake, but you can't pick which scores will go. Only the ACT has score choice.

Afraid not, you can't send just the SAT I scores; everything goes or nothing goes. The only way of sending just the SAT I scores would be to take it, send the score report to colleges, and THEN take the SAT IIs and not send another score report. College Board just sends what you've taken up to the time of the request; it doesn't automatically update colleges when you take tests after that.

My daughter wasn't very satisfied with her SAT II scores. She just took the ACT and sent those scores. Everywhere she applied accepted the ACT in lieu of both the SAT I and IIs.

Ok, so I am taking the SAT I next year as a junior. I am finishing up my sophomore year right now. Should I take the SAT II U.S. History now, or wait till I am done with SAT I.

if you take AP US History and are taking the AP exam on may 5 then you should DEF. take the SAT II on may 6 (im pretty sure thats the right date) because you will have prepared so much for the AP exam. i'm a junior and i wish i took some of my SAT IIs earlier because now i have to cram 3 into 1 date :(
